| Welcome to HdGameDb.com, the definitive source for console game specifications. |
|
| Consoles during the last generation started to catch up with the
audio/video equipment technology. Long gone are the days with 8-bit sprites and
mono audio. Surround sound and progressive scan video are now commonplace on
all three consoles from last generation. The arrival of the Xbox 360 made
high definition a standard feature on all games! |
|
| That's where HdGameDb.com comes into play. Now it's possible to determine which
games will fully exploit the audio/video capabilities of your entertainment
system. |
|
| There are other sites that offer similar information but none that include a
full-featured search and completely user-updatable information. Simply
register
(or
sign in) to help build the best video game specification database
on the Internet! |

Here are a couple of ads from the November 2005 launch. The 940x544 clips are
the original size since the image was letterboxed and pillarboxed which
resulted in a much smaller resolution than 720p. That being said, they don't
look too bad scaled to 720p. There's also a smaller resolution for each ad. All
clips are encoded with the Windows Media Audio 9.1 Professional codec.
